About Kim Greenberg

I moved to Nashville in 2013 from New York City, where I lived for more than twenty years studying, teaching and performing dance.

I am a Feldenkrais Practitioner, certified at the Feldenkrais Institute NYC in 2015. My training was primarily with David Zemach-Bersin, as well as Aliza Stewart, Anna Johnson, Sheryl Field, Paris Kearn, Carol Kress and Deborah Bowes, among others.

Beginning dance classes at the age of 4, I eventually received a B.A. in Dance Anthropology at UMASS Amherst, which led me to study and live in Cuba and West Africa. I earned my M.A. in Dance Education from Teacher's College, Columbia University. As a licensed dance teacher/choreographer in the NYC public schools and a teaching artist for NY City Center, I developed curriculum for grades K-12, working with children of all ages and abilities.

In addition to my work as a Feldenkrais Practioner, I am also a graduate of Martha Eddy's Dynamic Embodiment, Somatic Movement Therapy Training, a foot reflexologist and a Body-Mind ball work teacher and yoga practitioner.
